This is truly a FANTASTIC set of 4 early - 19th century cabinet card photographs. There are all of a circus performing contortionist. The artist is William Albee of the contortionist team of Albee an Arden. Two of the photos are so marked on the back. One photo shows Albee in a clown suit actually sitting on a can!!! There is some pink accents in 3 of the photos - I am not certain if this is original - although surely an early addition.
